...has come and gone and the Commonwealth appears to have officially codified bigotry and homophobia by amendment to the constitution. We have invited the state into our homes and bedrooms with a formal surrender to the forces who would subvert people's rights to a de facto theocracy. The likes of Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson are dancing in the streets I'm sure. Wouldn't it be poetic justice if one or both of those two jokers got upended by a further slide down the slippery slope of sanctimony?
