Colonial Beach 2ndFriday Art Walk

6 - 8 pm, Friday May 9th, 2008

The 2nd Friday Art Walk in Colonial Beach will be held from 6 - 8 pm on Friday the 9^th of May
and we have some exciting exhibits planned.
First is our annual student competition which will be shown at our local Historical Museum,
thanks to the Historical Society. The children have worked hard this year
and have pulled out all the stops for their exhibit and competition show,
(They are so excited!) Their teachers have been wonderful in helping them to
prepare.
Jarrett Thors Fine Arts Gallery has a visiting artist who has exhibited not only
here in the U.S. but also in Israel.
She will be exhibiting a wide range of her artwork from still life to landscapes.
Ruth Ann Loving returns and will be exhibiting at our local Fisheries Building
and we have a recent new comer,
Eric Smith who is a photographer will be showing at Fat Fredas.
The Art Walk is sponsored by the Colonial Beach Artists Guild in cooperation with area merchants.
