Stations like East Coast buy leftovers from manufacturers. The big customers go first and the independents are left mopping up. So once you feed you're base (aka Exxon/Mobile or Valero or Shell) and then feed the major players (aka Wawa, Sheets) there may not be enough leftovers to feed every 'other' company.

Thanks, Jim, for the write-up about the house concert with Beaucoup Blue! They really rocked the house, didn't they? My favorite part of this whole venture is meeting and getting to know the musicians and then watching people react to the entertainment. Annie Gallup is here in April and we are already working on our summer series. I'll keep you posted so that we can provide a more final schedule for your readers, some of whom I hope to see at the next show. Thank you for your help in getting the word out; it is much appreciated. ~ Ruth

I tried to get a local blogger meetup organized earlier this year and I found none of your blogs when I was looking. I ended up canceling it due to lack of attendees. Maybe once Nathan gets critical mass in his aggregator we will have enough people to make a social event happen. BTW, I'm top 10 in Google for "Fredericksburg VA blog" and I wasn't in the article either.
